New York Yankees infielder Ronald Torreyes might have had some downtime over the past few days, considering he slid into a fan’s direct messages.

This 2017 New York Yankees club just keeps getting more intriguing as the days go by, with Ronald Torreyes now sliding into a fan’s DM on Instagram.

The Yankees had an off day on Wednesday, which might have left Torreyes a little bored and wanting to interact with a fan by leaving a simple message in her direct messages.

The girl who he messaged, Samantha, took to Twitter in shock questioning this whole surreal scenario. A message exchange which started off with a simple “Hola como estas” turned into Torreyes asking the girl for her number.

He may only be 5-foot-8, but the right-hander lacks no confidence when it comes to his dating game, showing fearlessness when comes to casually sliding into a girl’s DM.

So for all of you single Yankee fans out there, reach out to the Yankees infielder in hope for a deeper connection, as he does seem pretty open to it.
