New York Rangers’ Henrik Lundqvist Makes Save of the Playoffs (Video)

New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist makes the save of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Game 1 up in Ottawa against the Senators.

In the National Hockey League, there are great saves and then there are all-time saves. The latter variety just unfolded before our eyes up in Ottawa during Game 1 of the second round Stanley Cup Playoff matchup between the New York Rangers and Ottawa Senators.

The first period has featured great offensive chances by both teams, but the Sens have found a little more room to navigate on the offensive end of the ice, especially considering they were granted two power play opportunities.

On one such occasion, Henrik Lundqvist, the future hockey hall of famer who’s been playing out of his mind, turned back Mark Stone who could only look to the heavens in disbelief (video above).

You think Hank wants that Stanley Cup?

With the first period winding down, the score remains 0-0.
