New York Mets first baseman Lucas Duda breaks up a no-hitter by smashing his first home run of the season on Saturday.

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Adam Conley was cruising through the New York Mets lineup on Saturday night at a chilly Citi Field. Up and down, up and down these Mets hitters went, sporting a goose egg in terms of the hit column through four full innings.

But then Lucas Duda strolled to the plate in the bottom of the fifth inning and showcased just how strong he actually is.

Check out the video above. On a 1-1 pitch with two outs, Duda smacked his first home run of the season to left-center field, an opposite field shot (video above).

The following two batters also reached base but the Mets couldn’t capitalize.

Josh Smoker has taken over for starter Robert Gsellman in the sixth inning with the Marlins currently up 3-1.
