New York Mets Fan Goes Bananas After NJ Transit Derailment Causes Delay (Video)

Watch this New York Mets fan go absolutely bananas over the NJ Transit derailment causing delays en route to Citi Field for opening day.

Come on, now, it’s MLB Opening Day. Never should a baseball fan be this upset on opening day.

Unfortunately, this guy was.

Check out the video above. A more than disgruntled New York Mets fan went absolutely bananas over a NJ Transit derailment (video above).

NBC New York had the story in which a NJ Transit derailment at Penn Station created massive delays getting into the city on Monday. This colorful Mets fan was irate over the prospect of missing his team’s opening day game at Citi Field.

Hopefully, he made it at some point. Actually, he better have because it was another nice opening day win by the Amazins, 6-0. Noah Syndergaard went six strong and picked up the win while Asdrubal Cabrera and Lucas Duda starred offensively.

Just imagine what this dude would have done if this was October baseball.
