New York Rangers’ Rick Nash Puts Together Studly, Highlight-Reel Goal vs. Islanders (Video)

New York Rangers forward Rick Nash burns the Islanders en route to a beauty of a goal on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.

If you’re one of the lucky individuals who took your talents to Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Mar. 22, for a delightful matchup between the New York Rangers and hated Islanders from Brooklyn, you’ve come away pretty happy thus far.

You’ve seen a Mats Zuccarello goal on the power play. You’ve seen a nice bout between Tanner Glass and Scott Mayfield. And now, most remarkably of all, you’ve seen Rick Nash turn back the clock and show he still has some of those open-ice skills in the tank.

Check out the video above. Nash completely abuses Isles’ Thomas Hickey en route to a beauty that sneaks by Thomas Greiss. It provided the Rangers their second goal of the night, giving them two, one more than the Isles (who struck back with Anders Lee just moments after the Zuccarello goal).

The teams continue to skate at 2-1 with a couple minutes left in the second period.
