New York Yankees: Greg Bird launches two-run moonshot (Video)

New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird sent an absolute bomb to right field for his third home run of the spring.

New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird has continued his powerful start to the spring on Thursday by launching a moonshot to right field against the Orioles.

Bird broke the 1-1 tie with his home run in the fourth following a double to right-center field by catcher Gary Sanchez.

The rocket sent into orbit by the left-hander might have many fans reminiscing of Aaron Judge‘s bomb last week. Yes folks, Judge is not the only one who is capable of these mammoth shots.

This hot start from Bird is a very good sign for Yankee fans, especially considering the left-hander missed the entire 2016 season due to injury and is looking to come back better than ever.

Hopefully, Bird can carry this absurd power up to New York once the regular season gets underway in April and help lead the Bombers back to the postseason.
