New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is looking to end his 2016 season on a high note with Jessie James in Mexico to ring in the new year.
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is spending the end of the 2016 and the arrival of 2017 with his wife Jessie James Decker in Mexico for a very special getaway.
Decker will be missing the final game of the season for the Jets, but will certainly be looking forward to returning for a healthy 2017 season.
The wide receiver and his wife have been posting photos of each other on their respective Instagram pages:
As seen by the caption from the photo posted, he is ending 2016 very happy and optimistic looking at where he is. All Decker seems to need is his beautiful bride and beautiful weather for a good time.
The Jets are currently 4-11 and playing for nothing besides a higher pick in the 2017 NFL draft. Fans of the team cannot be mad at Decker for not being in attendance for the team’s final game of the season. However, if the team were in contention this would be a different story, but they aren’t so it shouldn’t matter.
Hopefully, Decker enjoys his offseason and is able to find a way to make it back to New York healthy next year to help bring the team back to playoff contention.
