New York Islanders forward Anders Lee scores a comical goal in Boston against the Bruins thanks to a tremendous miscue.

The best way to describe this one is nothing less than “oops.”

Hot Hands

Anders Lee managed to score his 11th goal of the season just over three minutes into the first period.

After a comical miscommunication by Tukka Rask, which resulted in sending teammate Brad Marchand toppling over him, Lee was able to cash in on a quick opportunity springing the Islanders offense which has not been fantastic as of late.

Lee continues with the hot hand as he provides some much-needed goal support for the Islanders. He is just four goals away from matching his season total in 2015-16 and we’re only 32 games in so far.

Despite this season looking bleak, this is very good for the Islanders who can use some renewed faith in their forwards going into next season. Lee has two points so far into this game which also includes an assist on Thomas Hickey’s goal.
