Watch out, Noah Syndergaard. New York Yankees prospect Clint Frazier is well on his way to stealing your “Twitter King of New York” title.

If you know anything about Noah Syndergaard, you know he is the ace of the New York Mets. Between his flowing locks and his blazing fastball, Syndergaard is one pitcher that you never want to face.

In addition to his talent on the field, he has displayed some miraculous talent on Twitter. Syndergaard’s tweets are highly revered and hilarious. Not a day goes by when fans rush to his Twitter page to see what creative gem he’s released to the world.

From his recent stab at the popular Kermit the Frog meme to threatening to fire his Twitter staff after losing the Esurance MLB Best Social Media Personality, Syndergaard has kept the entire world laughing. His reaction tweets to player trades and signings are by far the highlight of any baseball fan’s internet experience. Take a look at a few of Syndergaard’s greatest hits on Twitter.

As great as Syndergaard is, he now has some competition in the form of the 22-year-old stud in Clint Frazier. The New York Yankees prospect is an equal in the hair department with Syndergaard, but he’s also making waves on Twitter with Yankee fans.

Picked up during the Andrew Miller trade last season, Frazier struggled on Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre but has shown promising improvements. With stellar bat speed and smooth moves in the outfield, Frazier is an athlete who will make a splash in the Bronx.

Frazier has already won the Yankee fans over with his Twitter account. Whether he’s asking out social media personality Jen Selter or encouraging Bryce Harper to make the jump to the Bronx, he is always entertaining. Recently, he’s been posting off-season workouts and inspirational quotes about taking his talents to the major leagues, while also live-tweeting a spat with his roommate.

His tweets are not only entertaining, but appealing to fans, who feel as though they have an inside scoop on the hot prospect’s life. His recent tweet, praising Yankee fans for being the “best fans,” shows that he’ll fit in just fine in the Bronx.

Sure, Syndergaard is more popular and prominent in the New York baseball scene but Frazier will soon give Syndergaard a run for his money when it comes to social media, if he hasn’t already. After all, Frazier’s confidence in his play and his team already signals big things to come for the red-headed prospect.

We will have to wait and see what happens. Two players in the same city, vying for social media fame while playing the game they love. At only 22 years old, Frazier still has a long way to go to make a path to the major leagues. However, like Syndergaard, once he’s there, he’ll make a huge impact on the team.

For now, all we can do is sit back and enjoy these two and their charming way with words on Twitter. The social media presence of these two players is enough to keep us entertained until baseball starts up again.

While Syndergaard reigns now, we may soon see a new king in the New York sports Twitter world. That king might very well be the most jacked ginger in Clint Frazier.
