The SI Cover Cubs Fans Have Been Waiting For (Photo)

The Sports Illustrated cover millions of Chicago Cubs fans have waited 108 years for, is finally here in all its glory.

Finally, it has happened for the Chicago Cubs and their fans. No more lovable losers and plenty of perks come with defeating the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series on Wednesday night.

First of all, the celebration is a perk in itself. Players are freely allowed to drink all the alcohol they’d like wherever they’d like with celebrities like Bill Murray. There’s the expensive and ridiculous championship ring that’s coming. There’s also the blowout parade that’s forthcoming in Chicago on Friday.

Most importantly, though, the Cubs now have the right to stare at the prettiest Sports Illustrated cover they’ve ever laid eyes on.

Check it out above. Sports Illustrated unveiled its cover the morning after the momentous occasion with a sparkling Tom Verducci feature on the inside.

How sweet it is for Cubs fans at this very moment.
