San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan decided to take matters into his own hands when this fan ridiculously ran onto the field.
It’s happened many times before. The unruly, perhaps very drunk and idiotic fan runs onto the playing surface of a football field or baseball diamond.
It’s also happened many times before when the fat, out-of-shape security guard finally takes the guy down after a few circles.
Oftentimes happening, is when the athlete actually gets involved. One such case happened this weekend.
Check out the video above. Angel Pagan, former Met and outfielder for the San Francisco Giants, took matters into his own hands when this idiot ran onto left field. Pagan performed a swift takedown and allowed security to clean up the rest.
Pagan, of course, is a guy we’re familiar with (former Met). He’s also a guy who’ll be in New York on Wednesday night when Noah Syndergaard and the New York Mets host the Giants in the NL Wild Card Game.
Warning: don’t run on the field towards Angel Pagan on Wednesday night. You may just get knocked out.
