New York Jets' Calvin Pryor Turned Down Dating TV Show Thanks To Girlfriend

New York Jets safety Calvin Pryor was forced to turn down a bachelor-like TV show due to his girlfriend putting the kibosh on it.

What American male wouldn’t want to star in his own bachelor-like television show? To have several ladies wining and dining you (and only you) is simply a dream come true.

This is the way New York Jets safety Calvin Pryor thinks.

In fact, according to Connor Hughes of NJ.com, Pryor was dead serious about starring in his own dating reality TV show until somebody put a swift end to it.

“My agent called and asked me if I wanted to be,” Pryor said. “I thought it was a very cool idea with being on TV, the brand, and everything like that,” Pryor said. “It would have been fun to take all of them on dates.”

Despite his willingness, the show, obviously, never happened for him thanks to his girlfriend.

“She cut me off before I could explain the details,” Pryor said. “I really didn’t know if I could just do it for fun, or if it would have to be a serious thing. Once I asked my girlfriend, and she said ‘no,’ that ended that.”

While he doesn’t have his television show, he does have the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. The Louisville Slugger, Darrelle Revis and the rest of the secondary will look to put a halt to their propensity for big plays this Sunday against Alex Smith.
