Sheep Interrupts Minor League Baseball Game (Video)

The most unlikely of spectators made its way to a Class A minor league baseball game on Thursday.

Typically, a charge-the-field scenario entails an intoxicated fan who has nothing better to do than gather undeserved attention.

In the midst of Thursday’s Single-A baseball game between the Batavia Muckdogs and State College Spikes, an interruption was provided by a senseless spectator. However, this visitor was not your normal human being.

In fact, it was a sheep. Yes, you read that right.

A comical sequence of events included the grounds crew attempting to chase the animal off the field thereafter.

Why did the organization think it was a decent idea to have a sheep at its home game? That question may remain unanswered. Why was the gate left open for the sheep? Again, no words can describe why.

One thing is known. You probably will not see something like that ever again.
