New York Yankees: Alex Rodriguez Signs With Greater Talent Network

Greater Talent Network announced on Tuesday that they have signed former New York Yankees’ slugger Alex Rodriguez onto the agency.

So much for chasing 700 home runs, I guess.

Greater Talent Network is an agency that represents the likes of speakers in politics, business, technology, entertainment, and sports and as Darren Rovell first reported, former New York Yankees‘ superstar Alex Rodriguez is their newest signee.

The three-time American League MVP’s biography on the site tells us that he is the “Founder and CEO of A-ROD Corp” while having a “primary focus on the Boys and Girls Club.”

A-ROD corp is described by Greater Talent Network as a “significant investment vehicle focusing on several growth sectors including real estate, high-end fitness centers, and automotive dealerships.”

The bio also notes how he is still a senior adviser to Hal Steinbrenner and how he played his final game on August 12 against the Rays.

Upon further investigation throughout his page, the site writes that “Mr. Rodriguez shares anecdotes about the triumphs and troubles that come with balancing sports and celebrity, and he discusses how nothing is more instrumental to success than being a true student of your craft.”

While everyone expected him to attempt to chase 700 at some point, you can now digress and expect him teaching others on how to be truly good at what they do.

Something A-Rod – despite the asterisk – was astonishing at.
