MLB Players Pay Tribute To Ken Griffey Jr. With Customized Cleats

Ken Griffey Jr. was officially inducted into the Hall of Fame yesterday, and players throughout the league made it known.

Multiple stars throughout major league baseball honored legend Ken Griffey Jr. yesterday. His silky smooth swing which produced 660 career home runs earned him a spot in Cooperstown yesterday.

On the same day both him and fellow inductee Mike Piazza gave their speeches in upstate New York, certain players donned white cleats with a “Swingman” logo to carry his prowess into their games.

Adam Jones, Mike Trout, and Mark Teixeira sported the kicks along many others throughout the league. All it resulted in was an even more special day for a man whose selection was well-deserved.
