The arm wrestling match of the decade has just gone down. Justin Bieber is in one corner while NBA player Joel Embiid the other.
Why? For the love of all things sane and logical…why in the world are we witnessing this right now?
It’s not sane, and it’s far from logical.
As you’ve already seen in the video above, pop star Justin Bieber and Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid partook in an old-fashioned arm wrestling match. An arm wrestling match that Embiid, fortunately for him, won.
It happened early Sunday morning somewhere in the United States at some night club that mega stars frequent.
Remember, Embiid was the third overall pick from the 2013 NBA Draft. Also remember, the kid has yet to play an NBA game.
That’s two years, no games, and many injuries.
Just going on a hunch here, but I’m pretty sure the 76ers would rather not see their first round oft-injured pick squaring off against the Biebs like this. It’s a no-win idiotic situation.
