Recent reports have surfaced that the New York Yankees have officially placed Carlos Beltran and Aroldis Chapman on the trade block.

To buy or sell? This is the question for Brian Chasman and the powers that be who run the New York Yankees.

Recently, the depressing reality that the 2016 Yanks aren’t contenders seems to finally be sinking in for the arrogant Randy Levine and company.

According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the Yankees will sell of both Carlos Beltran and Aroldis Chapman if things don’t quickly turn around.

The report indicates the specific two-week time window prior to the Aug. 1 non-waiver trading deadline. Should things not turn around for the better, the Yanks seem ready to pounce.

It makes all the sense in the world. It seems that the last people to fully understand that these Yankees need to turn the personnel over to a much younger state are those who run the organization.
