When Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was asked whether or not he would join his hometown Warriors, he made his stance clear.

The Kevin Durant hate lives on. This time, it comes from Twitter courtesy of Damian Lillard.

Lillard is speaking on behalf of the majority of NBA players stance on “super teams.”

In case you haven’t heard, the Warriors added Forward Kevin Durant in free agency.

After a historic regular season in which the Warriors won 73 games it seems as if the Warriors are a “super team.”

But Lillard is playing under a max contract until 2021 so there’s little chance he’s going anywhere seeing the Blazers potential. He has reigning Most Improved Player C.J. McCollum to compliment him.

The Blazers also acquired Evan Turner this offseason to bolster the rotation on the wing, providing Lillard with another ball-handler in the lineup so he can work off the ball, score and create even more offense from the perimeter.

It doesn’t look like Lillard is going anywhere. But, for now, it’s all speculation.
