New York Mets’ Michael Conforto Crashes Into Wall On Catch, Shaken Up (Video)

The New York Mets received yet another scare when left fielder Michael Conforto was shaken up after slamming into the wall on a catch.

On Thursday night in Atlanta, left fielder Michael Conforto provided his club a big time scare when he crashed into the left field wall while making a catch (video above).

This would be the last thing the New York Mets need.

With injuries to David Wright, Lucas Duda, Yoenis Cespedes, Zack Wheeler, Noah Syndergaard, the ball boy, the janitor, and the guy who cleans up the visiting team’s locker room every night, Terry Collins‘s club needs every healthy body it can get.

Luckily Conforto did stay in the game following the highlight catch. He hasn’t collected a hit from the six hole, but has walked and scored a run.

Matt Harvey battled through six innings surrendering two runs on eight hits. The Mets currently hold a slim 3-2 lead as the teams play on in the bottom of the 7th inning.
