New York Giants

When asked who was the best quarterback in the NFC East, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber chose Kirk Cousins over Eli Manning.

After further investigation, it’s now been concluded that Tiki Barber’s ass is still chapped.

Yeah, that’s right. Barber simply cannot get over something involving Eli Manning and the New York Giants. This ass-chapping mixed with continual attempts to stay relevant in the world of sports media has led to Tiki’s next ludicrous statement.

Tiki, who’s currently a CBS Sports radio host, had this to say to Chad Duke on 106.7 The Fan when asked who was the best quarterback in the NFC East:

“I think it has to be Kirk (Cousins). It has to be.”

Really? So Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins is better than both Eli Manning and Tony Romo. This is what Barber thinks. Or, at the very least, this is what Barber is willing to say in order to drum up a little attention.

Shame on us for actually pushing Barber’s ridiculous words, but something like this is just too good to pass up.

Barber is a fool.

In no way, shape or form is Cousins the best quarterback in the NFC East. All his words did today was lower the already low opinion many have of him.

Barber continued:

“None of the guys from the Eagles excite me. Eli and Tony are old, and Kirk just feels like he took the right steps.”

“We were talking early about how Tom Coughlin reinvented himself. Kirk, who is only 24 years old, reinvented who he was. There’s a lot to be excited about with him, especially if he keeps continuity with his coordinators and just keeps taking the small steps forward. You don’t need to take leaps and bounds but just take small steps forward.”

“Especially if you have talent around you, which the Washington Redskins do.”

The Skins surprised everybody in their NFC East champion campaign a season ago, but with only one-plus year of starting experience under his belt, Cousins pales in comparison to Eli.

Tiki Barber just made the claim that guy who’s started 25 games in the NFL is better than a two-time winning Super Bowl champion.

Congrats Tiki, you’re now being talked about.
