Paul George Announced As ‘NBA 2K17’ Cover Athlete

The speculation has now officially been confirmed. Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George will be the cover boy for “NBA 2K17.”

The speculation and anticipation is finally over.

The cover boy for NBA 2K17 will be none other than Indiana Pacers superstar Paul George.

The man can rebound terrifically from one of the scarier injuries you’ll ever see on the basketball court, be named as the cover athlete to the most popular basketball video game brand of all time, yet still couldn’t even make 2015-16 All-NBA second team.

Go figure.

Nevertheless, it’ll be George on the standard edition and Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant gracing the cover on the Legend Edition. We already knew about Kobe as the man for the Legend Edition. George rounds out the duo for the good folks at 2K this season.

Now, all we have to do is wait for the game to come out in September.

Here’s a few shots to keep your whistle wet until then:
