This is why it’s only natural that Mother’s Day is a special day in the world of sports. Not only do we always have the NBA Playoffs and Stanley Cup Playoffs in full swing, but Major League Baseball is doing their thing on this particular Sunday in May.
In a New Era advertisement, New York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom, New York Yankees reliever Dellin Betances, and a host of other MLB stars decided to pay homage to their mothers (video above).
Not only that, but all MLB teams will be wearing special pink MLB jerseys today.
