When two official Twitter accounts get into it, we enjoy life. On Monday, the New York Jets and Nebraska Cornhuskers did just that.

There’s no question about it, we live in a different world today.

Thanks to social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, we, the fans, occasionally get a real glimpse into what one of our teams are thinking.

OK, so maybe that’s a little strong, but at least these “official” Twitter accounts do communicate with us on a far more regular basis than pre-social media.

What happens when two official Twitter accounts get into it with each other, though?

It’s usually turns out to be hysterical stuff.

It all started with this Tweet from Nebraska:

To which the Jets responded with a slight (and ridiculous might I add) correction regarding wide receiver Quincy Enunwa:

Which ultimately led to a friendly back-and-forth between the two football teams:

The most surprising thing is neither side got their hands dirty. It was classy ribbing all for a good time.
