New York Jets’ D’Brickashaw Ferguson Receives Special Farewell From ‘Game Of Thrones’ Creator (Video)

George RR Martin, the man responsible for “Game Of Thrones,” had this special message for New York Jets retired OL D’Brickashaw Ferguson.

Who knew the guy who’s responsible for HBO’s hit Game Of Thrones is a football fan?

Take it a step further, who knew he was a fan of the New York Jets?

I certainly didn’t. Now, after today, I do, thanks to this very special message to one of the greatest to ever lace ’em up for the green and white.

George RR Martin, the creator of the series, posted an incredibly special short video in tribute to the recently retired D’Brickashaw Ferguson (above).

He goes on to congratulate the two-time second-team NFL All-Pro while wishing him a very happy “second life.”

Much like all of us, we found out Martin was also blown away by Brick’s consistency and durability throughout his 10-year NFL career.
