NBA Logos Redesigned For Hip-Hop Artists (Photos)

This guy is just a magician.

We’ve seen his work many times previously. His latest dealt with NBA logos and superheroes coming together. He also mixed and mashed classic cartoons and NBA logos.

At this point, it’s hard to not appreciate his work.

David Rappoccio, a sports cartonist and writer for Uproxx Sports, has come out with his latest sports logo mashup. His latest brings two entities together that are already incredibly intertwined: the NBA and Hip-Hop.

Rappoccio recreated and redesigned NBA logos for Hip-Hop artists. Some were logical, others were extremely creative. Some, like the Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic, are just downright hilarious.

Jay-Z, of course, represented the Brooklyn Nets logo. As far as the New York Knicks were concerned, many artists come to mind. Nas was most certainly a possibility. In the end, however, the Notorious B.I.G. took the crown.
