As evidence at the bowling alley, some of the New York Rangers players can’t get enough of Knicks rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis.

It appears we, the fans, aren’t the only ones who can’t get enough of New York Knicks rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis.

The New York Rangers can’t get enough, either.

In the newest episode of Boys in Blueshirts, on Blueshirts United, Keith Yandle and Kevin Hayes showed just how much the squad loves him. During a friendly, not-so-competitive game of bowling, Hayes put his name up on the board as “Hayzie,” while Yandle went with “Zinger.”

Via Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News:

“He’s been a little bit of a folk hero in our locker room here,” Yandle said Tuesday in Greenburgh at the Garden facility where both the Rangers and Knicks practice. “You follow the Knicks in our room and you follow what he’s doing. It’s great to see a young guy, a European, an underrated guy, come in and accomplish what he’s been able to so far. It’s pretty cool.”

Some teammates even refer to Marc Staal as “Stall-zingis.”
