An instant classic from Bleacher Report as they use “Good Will Hunting” to play out New York Giants former head coach Tom Coughlin consoling Eli Manning.
One of the reasons Matt Damon and Ben Affleck went from nobodies in New England to somebodies in Hollywood was their critically acclaimed film Good Will Hunting. More accurately, Good Will Hunting was the reason these two brats rose up the Hollywood ladder so quickly.
Robin Williams, who decided to take the role as Dr. Sean Maguire in the 1997 classic, was the driving force behind a few powerful scenes in the film.
One such moment, of course, was when Maguire repeatedly tells Will that “it’s not your fault.”
