Well this is certainly entertaining. Don’t dish it Johnny Hekker, if you’re not willing to take it. He did just that today against the Seattle Seahawks.

Being a kicker or punter in the National Football League is a tricky business. Running around the field as an average human being in comparison to, well, not-so-average human beings is a risky proposition.

And for the most part, the not-so-average human beings take it easy on this ordinary fellows.

Once you mix it up with the big boys though, you suddenly become fair game. St. Louis Rams punter Johnny Hekker realized that full well today.

Squaring off against the Seattle Seahawks, Hekker decided to knock down Cliff Avril from behind on a play. Later in the game, Avril looked to scare the living daylights out of Hekker, and that’s just what he did (video above).

Teammate Michael Bennet added one in for the fun of it immediately after.
