The 2015-2016 rgular season has started out rough for the New Jersey Devils.

With last night’s 5-3 loss at the Verizon Center, the team is 0-2. Certainly not a time to panic, but something that needs to be addressed by head coach John Hynes.

But, there is comfort in the fact the team fought till the end. After going down 0-2 in the first period, the Devils responded with two of their own to even the match.

First goal came from alternate captain Adam Henrique, who is expected to have a bounce back season:

The second goal came from the blue line on a the power play, compliments of Eric Gelinas:

Unfortuantely, the Capitals proved to be too much, as they put up three more goals, including this highlight of a goal from Alex Ovechkin, that left Devils defenseman John Moore in frustration:

But, the Devils “never quit” attitude was there till the end. In the last two minutes of the game, they would get one back off the stick of Mike Cammalleri:

The Devils will be back in action this coming Tuesday, October 13th, as they will host the Nashville Predators at the Prudential Center.
