2015 MLB Postseason Officially Set – Bracket, Schedule

It only took 162 games by 30 teams, but finally the 2015 MLB Postseason is finally set in stone with teams, players, schedules and brackets.

Not until the last day of the season did we know how the bracket would shake down during the 2015 MLB Postseason.

For a while now we knew how the NL playoffs were going to shake out. The St. Louis Cardinals would take on the winner of the NL Wild Card Game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Chicago Cubs. While the New York Mets would head out to the West Coast and start in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.

The AL picture, on the other hand, was another story. And as it turns out, the Los Angeles Angels turned out to be the losers on the final day of the season.

The Halos lost to the AL West Champion Texas Rangers – who will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS – opening the door for the Houston Astros to be the opponent for the New York Yankees in the Bronx this coming Tuesday night.

As a reward, the winner of that single game will travel to Kansas City to take on the defending AL Champion Royals.
