Something interesting happened at Minnesota Vikings practice recently which saved Cordarrelle Patterson from squirming in pain.

If you’re not a female, then you’ve been there. “There” is the excruciating man-pain you find yourself in when something (not a pillow) makes impact in the area that should always be protected at all times.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has surely been there before, and was almost there again.

Check out this day-saving one-handed deflection by fifth-round Maryland product Stefon Diggs (video above). With Patterson staring out in space, Diggs use his right mitt to allow Patterson to remain upright – instead of immediately falling to the ground in the fetal position while squirming in pain.

Buy that man a brand-spanking new PS4 or, at the very least, a fine steak dinner.

Meanwhile, the video has Vikings fans already questioning Diggs’s hands, due to the inability to snare the ball one-handed.
