Carolina Panthers franchise quarterback Cam Newton got into a little scuffle today with cornerback Josh Norman at training camp.
Lets face facts shall we. NFL Training Camps bring fights to the table.
Until that first preseason games commences, players on their own team treat each other as if they were the enemy. Jobs are at stake and playing time hangs in the balance for a richer payday. It’s only natural that tempers flare from time to time.
What’s unusual about the fight at Carolina Panthers training camp Monday was that it involved their $100 million man.
Cam Newton – the guy who’s wearing red (meaning nobody is allowed to touch him) – got into it with cornerback Josh Norman after an interception. It was a scuffle beyond rare scuffles, involving a franchise quarterback.

It seems as though the entire incident was instigated by Newton:
Recap: Norman picks Newton. Norman gets up, runs. Newton pursues. Newton blocked, runs down Norman. Newton jumps on Norman. Scuffle ensues.

But who truly knows what Norman might have done to get things so sparked up like this.
Newton referred to Norman as a "piss ant." Seemed to take exception after being hit after the INT. Never seen Cam that upset or lose it.

Newton to Norman: "Hit me like that again and you'll know something!"
