With the 2015 NFL Hall of Fame game now in full flow, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons provided us with the first big hit.

Let’s all get down on bended knees and bow to the heavens, for the National Football League is officially back.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings chosen to be the two lucky NFL teams who play that fifth preseason contest in the 2015 Hall of Fame game, we as fans couldn’t be more thankful – preseason or not.

One guy who’s already reminded us of why we’ve missed football so much is Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons. In the first quarter of a scoreless game, Timmons dropped deep on a Minnesota third and long. The result wound up in Vikings receiver Jarius Wright catching the ball underneath and getting popped as he sniffed the first-down marker.

Yes folks, football is back.

Both teams play on in the second-quarter, still scoreless.
