When two NFL teams get together for a scrimmage or joint practice before preseason starts, expect the unexpected to go down.
For those interested and excited, the NFL is officially back.
The Washington Redskins and the Houston Texans made sure we knew it was back. During Saturday’s joint practice between the two squads, tempers flared and bodies were being thrown out of the way.
What’s unusual about this situation is the fact that the Texans have been in Richmond, VA this entire week with the Skins. In terms of training camp purposes, that’s a long time to spend together.
Perhaps too much time. Multiple fights broke out.
Even a Texan in street clothes decided to get a shove in:

These boys cannot play nice anymore.
Both teams — Redskins and Texans — have been separated to two different fields after three big fights in five minutes.

Texans wide-out DeAndre Hopkins apologized, sort of:
Sorry bout the violence @ESPNNFL but we don't take shit!

Meanwhile, newly acquired defensive beast Vince Wilfork was doing some work for his new team. Check him out here push back an offensive lineman so fiercely that he makes the tackle on his own running back with his own backside.
