New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckam Jr. takes home the award of ‘Best Play’ at the 2015 ESPYS Wednesday night.

We all know the play, the player and the catch. We just didn’t know if it would officially warrant the title of Best Play at the annual ESPYS.

In the end, it did, of course.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. walked up on the stage at the 2015 ESPYS to accept the honor of Best Play thanks to his legendary one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football last season.

Other nominees included plays from Lionel Messi, Stephen Curry, Jeremy Menez and the Central Michigan Chippewas Football team.

Beckham finished his rookie campaign with a remarkable 91 grabs for 1,301 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games played (11 started). He, along with Victor Cruz and Reuben Randle will look to produce the top wide-out trio in the NFL this upcoming season.
