New York Knicks

The No. 4 selection of the 2015 NBA Draft, New York Knicks big-man Kristaps Porzingis, is already injured and might not be able to play.

If this is the beginning of what nightmares turn out to be, then Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks better wake up quickly.

Kristaps Porzingis, the No. 4 selection of the 2015 NBA Draft, injured his hip and was unable to continue during a private workout with the Knicks.

Earlier today the Knicks released their full roster for the 2015 NBA Summer League. It did, indeed, include the Latvian-sensation.

Via Jonah Ballow of Knicks.com:

“I was just trying not to force it too much because of the little injury I had,” Porzingis said to Ballow. “These last couple days I’ve been working out a little bit, getting in shape to be ready for Summer League.”

For now the Knicks will have to monitor the situation. The worst thing in the world for this “work in progress” franchise would to not have Zinger available for opening night.
