Texas Rangers prospect Joey Gallo is hotter than hot right now after recently getting the call. One might argue that his girl is hotter.

Well, it’s finally happened for Joey Gallo. He’s been called to The Show.
It extends a familiar narrative surrounding the 2015 MLB season. We’ve already seen Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson slugging his way into superstardom, and Chicago Cubs super phenom Kris Bryant showing us that the hype is warranted.
Now, Gallo is keeping the super prospect love at its height.
Since his callup, Gallo has smashed two home runs and five runs batted in while hitting .292 during 24 career big league at-bats.
Not too bad for a 21-year old.
Another “not too bad” associated with Gallo is who he calls his girlfriend.
Shelbi Alyssa is that girl.
She’s a San Diego Chargers girl, model, and was named “Miss Greater San Diego 2015.” To add smarts into the equation, she’s pursuing a Broadcast Journalism degree at Orange Coast College.
Pretty impressive.
The all-important question at the moment, however, is which half of the couple is more impressive? Gallo or Alyssa?
