Now that that New York Knicks are selecting No. 4, a true NBA Mock Draft is essential for all of New York City to digest.

Now that, as a hardened NBA basketball fan, you’re watching the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, you’ve put the NBA Draft Lottery results away and out of the mind.

Right? Well, not if you’re a New York Knicks fan.

Despite finishing with a pathetic 17-65 record, good enough for second-worst during the 2014-15 season, the Knicks reluctantly accepted the No. 4 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft.1nba2

With Steve Mills representing the organization up there on that stage, the basketball gods decided to stick it to Phil Jackson and company.

Perhaps it’s a little payback for the idiocy that is bringing back Isiah Thomas?

Nevertheless, the No. 4 spot brings a plethora of questions to the table now.

Assuming the two big guys go one-two, who will Jackson look to? With Carmelo Anthony essentially the only player to worry about, is any position or player-type on the table in that slot?

Or, could it now be possible that Jackson sniffs around the trade market?
